We’re looking for someone to help us build real relationships on social media, not just post for the sake of it. About the Role
We’re hiring a part-time Fractional Community Manager to manage Function’s presence across social platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn. You'll help build and engage a founder-focused audience, turn internal insights into social moments, and experiment with new formats and conversations.
What You'll Do
- Create and schedule social posts (primarily LinkedIn) that reflect our brand voice and support company goals
- Monitor and engage with followers, clients, and influencers in the startup/finance space
- Grow Function’s reach through conversations, reposts, and thoughtful community engagement
- Analyze performance and optimize based on what’s resonating
- Stay on top of trends in startup, tech, and finance communities
You Might Be a Fit If You:
- Have 3-5 years of experience managing social media
- Understand the culture of LinkedIn (you get founder-speak and startup humor)
- Are a strong writer who knows how to be both professional and human
- Are proactive, organized, and comfortable working asynchronously
- Are available 5 hours/week
Bonus Points For:
- Comfort with design tools (Canva, Hubspot) or working with creative teams
- Experience building a community or running a content calendar
- Familiarity with startup/finance/tech Twitter (X) and Instagram
